This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Cut a 10cm x 14.5cm piece of stripy paper from the Papermania Colossal vibrant papers pack and stick to the front of the A6 Fuchsia card blank.

2

Cut an 8cm square and a 7cm square of white cardstock and a 7.5 cm square of fuchsia card stock and a 6.5cm square birthday wishes paper from the vibrant papers pack.

3

Layer carefully on top of each other, leaving a small level border around each.

4

Stamp the dog onto white card stock using a black ink pad and allow to dry. Draw onto an old CD with the brown brush marker, mix with a little water and paint onto the dog, allow to dry and add more colour where required. Colour the tongue bright pink, and add 3D glaze to the nose to make it shine!

My interest in crafting intensified at the age of 11 when my art teacher chose my "Brian the Snail" to feature at an exhibition. Fuelled by this brush with fame! I became an avid crafter. My jobs have included Local radio co-host, advertising & Travel. I've even had my 15 minutes of TV fame sipping wine in Richard & Judy's green room! I now teach Card Making & Scrapbooking, I also design & sell my own cards & Wedding invitations. I really look forward to meeting you at my next demonstration & sharing tips, hints, ideas & inspiration
