Step by Step
1
Cut 2 card blanks in half.
Front section - Cut a piece of blue coredinations to 12 ½ cm square and stick onto front of a card piece. Use the middle of the second size circle cutter to draw a circle on back of card. Cut around with scallop scissors on the outside of the pencil line. Stick a section of the sunflower border to the bottom of the card. When in place, dab the back of the border with cotton wool to stop it sticking to the rest of the card.
2
Side sections – Cut two pieces of cardstock 6cm x 13cm and score into 1cm sections on the short edge. Create mountain and valley folds along these sections. Attach a concertina section to each side of the front section using double sided tape.
3
Middle sections – tear three strips of coredinations in different shades of green to around 2 ½ cm x 13cm. Tear the top of these into hill shapes and stick to each side of the concertina sides. Pull off some sunflowers from the rest of the border strip and attach to the hills.
4
Back section – using the book in the Girls Quilling Kit, complete the castle, but use green for the roofs. Stick the completed castle onto a piece of blue cardstock and trim around. Add the flags to the top of the castle. Cut a rough cloud shape from an offcut of cardstock and use the blue vivid ink to ink over the edge to create some clouds on the back section of card. Stick the castle in the centre of this back section. Attach this piece onto the back of the concertina sections to complete the card.
