DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Attach the ‘Congratulations’ stamp to an acrylic block. Ink it up in black dye ink and stamp the image three times underneath each other, with equal spacing onto white card. Colour the alternate words in red pencil.

2

Cut a piece of polka dot red patterned paper 12.5cm x 12.8cm, cut a piece of white card slightly larger and layer the patterned paper at a slight angle on the white card. Stick centrally to a red square Anita’s card blank. Stick the stamped ‘congratulations’ panel through the centre.

3

Stick a length of red satin ribbon to the left and embellish with red stones. Stamp the ‘Birthday’ stamp in black dye ink onto white card and colour with red pencil, adding ‘happy’ in alphamini’s cardstock sticker lettering above. Add a red stone to the heart and double mat onto plain red and red Glitter silk card. Layer with Stick It! 3D dots to the bottom right of the card.

4

Die cut a large flower from Glitter Silk card and red gingham paper. Layer up as shown. Die cut a smaller white card flower for the centre and a scalloped polka dot circle for the centre of that. Add a red stone to the centre and attach to the top right corner of the card.
