Step by Step

1

Using a bead board arrange beads in the following sequence.

2

Starting in the centre of the board (at the bottom) use a pair of red crystals. Your pendant will be positioned between these.

3

Then on either side position a spacer bead, a blue crystal and a long white pearl.

4

Next thread on a blue crystal, a spacer, a red crystal, a spacer, a blue crystal and a long pearl. Repeat this sequence until you have a total of 5 long pearls on either side.

5

Next thread on a spacer, a long blue crystal, a spacer, a small red crystal, and a pearl. Add a small red crystal, a spacer, a long blue crystal, a spacer, a small red crystal, a pearl, a small red crystal, a spacer, a long blue crystal, and finally a spacer.

6

Thread the beads onto beading wire, making a loop at both ends and securing with crimp beads.

7

When both sides are completed add a lobster claw clasp to one end and a short extender chain with a beaded head pin to finish.

8

To make the matching earrings thread a blue crystal, a pearl and a red crystal onto a headpin. Turn the end to a loop and attach a earring finding. Repeat to make a second earring.

Hi there! My earliest memory of crafting is sitting with my Nan embroidering when I was tiny. Since then I’ve enjoyed cross-stitch, knitting, & a multitude of paper-crafting techniques. I have been making cards for years but really became hooked when I was introduced to heat embossing. I’ve been addicted to paper, brads, ribbon, stamps, beads, wire…. ever since! I’m really looking forward to meeting you to show you what you can achieve with all the wonderful products available to you!
