DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Using the Dots Embossing folder and the Epic Six Machine, emboss the pattern onto Love Potion Core’dinations. Trim to the edge of the pattern and sand the raised edges. Glue to the front of a card blank.

2

Apply the scalloped edge ‘Stick With It’ sticker at the top and bottom of the card. Remove the covering and sprinkle white flocking powder over. Press onto the sticker and knock off the excess, returning it to the bottle.

3

Die cut the Reindeer die from light brown, dark brown white, black and pink card (you can use small scraps for the smaller parts!).

4

Assemble the pieces as shown. You will not need the antlers! For the collar trim a body shape down to size to get the correct shape. For the ears trim the ears of the pink body shape down slightly. Add a circle of card as an ID tag, adding a name for your Chihuahua. Glue the whole dog on the left hand side.

5

Die cut ‘Hello!’ from white card using the alphabet dies. Glue into place on the card. Add a glitter heart brad in the top right corner.

Scrapbooking satisfies my daily need for a creative outlet, it complements my other loves, photography and my Newfoundland dogs perfectly!
