Step by Step
1
Cut a flower shape from the Sunshine gingham patterned paper to measure about 28cm across. Ink the edges and draw a doodled line all around the inner edge. Glue centrally on Cappuccino cardstock.
2
Ink the flourishes of chipboard and aloe to try for a few moments before gluing in place as shown.
3
Staple a few lengths of raffia across the page.
4
Apply a pair of photos centrally, tucking the edges underneath the flourishes.
5
Add a title using cardstock stickers, layering some of the words onto cardstock.
6
Make the paper flower (see below) and add to the bottom left corner of the page.
7
Add a felt butterfly diecut to complete.
8
To make the orange flower – cut 4 squares from sunshine patterned paper (use the single sided paper as this is thinner) measuring 7cm x 7cm. Concertina into 8 equal sections. Fold in half and repeat for 4 pieces – add a paper circle and a brad on top.
9
To make the green flower – Cut a strip of scrap yellow card to measure 1cm wide by 25cm long. Use a quilling tool to roll up.
10
Cut verde single sided paper to measure 3.5cm by 25cm. Cut into the strip at narrow intervals so you have a fringe of 2.5cm wide. Wrap the strip around the yellow flower centre to make a giant quilled flower.
11
To make the yellow flower – Layer up a large yellow bloom, a smaller white and a circle of Verde patterned paper . Ink each layer and secure together with a fancy brad.
