I save these too, excellent idea. I also use several different colours to tie on my suitcase handles for easy identification :)

I also do this and all my family and friends give me the ribbons out of their garments to. Always a thrifty crafter!

You could possibly use the white or pale ones and colour them with promarkers. Tybalt x

I too am glad that I am not the only one that does this. I have made a couple of cards recently using the shoulder ribbons and find it fab. Normally these are colours are not ones you would usually purchase so it gives you a chance to dabble with different colours.

Hi there. I've been making cards for about about 4yrs now. I have recently retired so I don't have a big budget. I would dearly love a craft room, so I just use the dining table & very organised storage. I make cards for all occasions for my family including Xmas cards for all of our family & friends. I also make commissioned cards and cards for various charities. I guess I'm a bit of an addict really! My latest purchase was a Grand Calibur when it was launched before Xmas. I am now building up my die collection. In April I was lucky enough to be invited to appear on a TV Craft Channel for a 1hr programme. I thoroughly enjoyed myself meeting the presenters & designers. My Hubby has got into scrapbooking since I started making cards & I'm planning to do that very soon too. I'm also into Family History so I struggle finding time to fit it all in - dont know how I ever went to work as well!!
