Step by Step

1

Thread a filigree bead onto an eyepin and turn the end to a loop. Thread a round crystal onto a head pin. Turn the end to a loop and attach at one end of the threaded filigree bead. Attach the other end of the filigree eye pin onto the open part of a toggle clasp. Add a jump ring to the loop of the toggle. Put to one side.

2

Cut beading wire to measure approximately 35cm long. Attach a jump ring to one end with a loop in the wire, secured with a crimp bead.

3

Thread on the beads in the order shown until you get half way.

4

Thread on the pendant section.

5

Reverse the order of beads to complete the beading section.

6

Secure the other end of the wire with a jump ring and a crimp bead.

7

Cut two lengths of wire measuring 12cm. Attach to the either end of the beaded section using a crimp bead.

8

On one end add a lobster claw clasp using a jump ring. On the other attach another jump ring, a short piece of chain as an extender and the other part of the toggle clasp as a decorative end.

Hi there! My earliest memory of crafting is sitting with my Nan embroidering when I was tiny. Since then I’ve enjoyed cross-stitch, knitting, & a multitude of paper-crafting techniques. I have been making cards for years but really became hooked when I was introduced to heat embossing. I’ve been addicted to paper, brads, ribbon, stamps, beads, wire…. ever since! I’m really looking forward to meeting you to show you what you can achieve with all the wonderful products available to you!
