Step by Step

1

Layer a piece of Christmas paper onto the front of a cream card blank.

2

Cut a smaller piece of red card and use a contrasting paper to decorate the top. Cut an aperture in the card using the circle dies.

3

Create a frame with cream cardstock using the circle and scallop circle die.

4

Fold up and create the rosette as shown on the pack and attach to the back of the aperture with glue gun.

5

Attach a greeting onto the front of the rosette. Attach a bow to the base of the greeting.

6

Stick the whole panel onto the front of the card. You will need around 5 layers of the foam tape all around the edges to keep it flat when positioned.

7

Using the santa decoupage from the card kit, build up and stick to the right side of the aperture. Trim to size at the edges.

8

Cut 1cm strips of red card and stick around the outside edges of the card to create a boxed in effect.

9

Decorate the aperture frame with adhesive gems.

Hi. I'm Jo and I'm delighted to be a designer for 'do crafts'. I have been crafting for many years, my interest starting with cross stitch and continuing onto card making around 5 years ago, recently being able to have some work published and winning competitions. I started with the shoebox of goodies like everyone does, and this has gradually taken over my house. I love card making and scrapbooking and can't wait to give you all an insight into crafting.
