Step by Step
1
Cover a square card blank with blue large rose design paper.
2
Add a strip of pink small rose design paper to the bottom edge of the card.
3
Cover the paper joins with a length of white knotted ribbon.
4
Layer a square of the pink rose design paper on to white card then green Core’dinations card.
5
Glue this in place on to the centre of the card so that it just overlaps the ribbon.
6
Using the ‘Build a Rose’ clear stamp set, stamp the five numbered images on to pink Core’dinations card using black dye ink. Cut them out and highlight the edge of all the petals with red shimmer chalks.
7
Stamp the leaf image three times on to green handmade paper and cut each one out.
8
Pierce a hole through each of the stamped images using a pokey tool and mat. Join the pieces together with a green glitter brad then glue them to the centre of the square panel.
9
Pull the petals forward to give a 3D effect.
10
Stamp ‘The Future looks Rosy’ greeting on to white card and then layer this panel on to pink rose paper and green Core’dinations card.
11
Gently rub pale blue shimmer chalk over the stamped greeting.
12
Apply three layers of foam pads to the centre back of the greeting panel and add tacky glue to the short edges then fix in place to the bottom of the card front. The panel should now stand proud of the card but remain fixed at each end to form a curve.
13
To finish the card, add a pale pink adhesive stone to each corner.
