This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Use a pencil and ruler to draw a grid to the bottom right of the page with 2.5cm between the lines. Add a dot using a pink pen where the lines intersect.

2

Trim striped paper to measure 15cm wide. Tear the bottom edge at an angle so it measure a maximum of 8cm tall. Position towards the bottom of the grid as shown.

3

Layer a photo onto dark pink Paperazzi glitter paper and trim to leave a border.

4

Trim three lengths of ribbon each measuring 8cm long. Fold in half and secure behind the edge of the photo. Glue the photo in place.

5

Apply lengths of the self-adhesive daisy chain and a length of ribbon across the bottom of the photo.

6

Stamp the large number three onto patterned paper using dark pink ink. Cut out and mount off to the right of the photo. Add alphabet stickers to spell out your title to the left of the number.

7

Apply one of the Big Bloomers flowers centrally over the ribbon/borders and layer a Boysenberry Capsule Petal and a Blitter on top.

8

Arrange further Blitters and some of the flower shaped buttons across the page.

9

Add some laser hearts to the grid at the top right as shown and finish with some journalling to the top of the grid.

I have always been 'crafty' and while sitting with my gran when I was younger I admired all she did and said to myself that I wanted to create things like her. I am just a girl who has been let loose with paper and scissors. Can I make a mess ... You sure bet I can! I am a freelance designer for docrafts and enjoy creating projects for the Creativity! Magazine, Creativity! Club TV and demos.
