DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Trim green striped paper slightly smaller than a square card blank. Ink the edges, stitch around the edge and glue centrally.

2

Trim pink polka dot paper to measure 10.5x10.5cm, ink the edges and stitch a border around the edge. Layer onto pink cardstock trimming to leave a narrow border and glue centrally.

3

Cut a 5cm strip of blue patterned paper and die cut both edges using the Xcut Margaret Border Die. Attach vertically.

4

Stamp the bridge scene on to Kraft cardstock and colour in using watercolour pencils. Tear the edges and adhere to the card using 3D foam dots.

5

Twist tissue paper to create a flower. Hand cut some leaf shapes using paper from the Stepper card pack and adhere to the top left corner of the card along with some Petal Posies and adhesive gems. Add a die-cut greeting to the bottom right.

6

Lastly enhance the Lily pads using Anita’s Clear Gloss finish.
