This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

For this page, I have used photos of the following sizes: 17.7 x 11.2cm, 5.5 x 5.5cm and 11.3 x 6cm. TIP: You caneither cut down existing photos or if you use a digital camera, shrink, crop or enlarge your phots to size on the accompanying software you get with your camera.

2

Cut 27.6 x 3.7cm strip from a Papermania 12 x 12" pale cream handmade paper sheet. Now, stick down the gold dome letter stickers spelling out the place of your visit. Then, from the darker cream paper, cut an 8.8 x 8.8cm square, a 5.2 x 5.5 cm and a 15.7 x 12cm rectangle. On this piece of paper you can now place your sticky ribbon choosing lighter colours at the top and merging into darker ribbon at the bottom.

3

Any information you want to write about your trip or thoughts and memories can be written or typed in a square piece of paper over a handmade paper square at the top right corner of your page (revert to photo)And you can place some clear dome stickers in each corner to 'frame'.

TOP TIP! GRID WORK: Designing on an imaginary grid is a shortcut to a unified page. When you align your photos on an imaginary axis you are using a grid approach. Pay attention to the spaces inbetween each photo or shape as equal space creates a more balanced feel.
