Step by Step
1
Cut a 12 x 30.4cm rectangle from a sheet of 12x 12" lavender paper and secure 1cm from the left edge of the black paper.
The central band: Cut a 2 x 30.4cm strip from the remaining lavender paper and secure horizontally across the centre of your page. Cut a 19.2 x 5 cm strip from lavender mulberry paper and secure 1cm from the left edge of the first large lavender rectanlge and centrally over the horizontal strip you have just glued down. Cut a 17 x 3 cm strip from black handmade paper and glue centrally over the mulberry paper.
2
Cut a 3 x 3cm square from black handmade paper and secure at a 45 degree angle over the black rectangle you have just glued down approximatley 1.5 cm from the left edge. Cut a 2.5 x 2.5 square from photocopied sheet music and glue centrally onto the black square. Finish by adding alarge clear dome sticker over the top and mini silver adhesive stones t the corners.
Add the words 'ROCK ON!' using silver Ainta's Outline Stickers to the right of the musical diamond.
3
Glue your photos into position (see photo) and add small silver papermania adhesive stones to the corners for decoration.
Cut three strips from white mulberry paper: 1.5 x 8.5 cm, 1.5 x 10.7 cm and 1.5 x 9 cm. Glue onto the page, placing the shortest strip vertically to the left of the top photo, the longest strip between the 2 bottom photos (align the top with the top of the photos) and the last strip horizontally under the bottom right photo, aligning it to the right photo, aligning it to the right edge of the picture. Using Papermania dome alphabet stickers, add the name of the person in the photograph, 'Musical' and 'Legend'.

If you want to write about this subject you could use the top right space to write/ type your thoughts. You may like to choose a lilac piece of card to match the other colours and cut the shape into the same size as the bottom right photo to balance the page.
5
TOP TIP!: Nothing is more important in designing a scrapbook page than the principle of balance. When balance is achieved, we feel good. When balance is off, we feel like something is wrong, but we just can't put our finger on it. To try and create balanced layouts you need to understand visual weight and a need for order.
Visual weight is any element on a page which takes up space (photos, words, embellishments). On an unbalanced page, your elements will look 'top heavy', over crowded with embellishments, colour crazy!.
6
Try placing your elements on your page firstly without sticking them down and try moving them around till it all 'fits' and feels 'comfortable'. And keep the same colour but with different shades to avoid a confusing page.Everyone has their own style so have a go you can't go wrong!
