This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Using a piece of the large floral paper as your background, cut a strip of the dark green handmade paper to measure 7cm wide and stick at the right hand side of your page.

2

Add a length of the ribbon down the centre of this panel. Add 5 of the metal flower shapes down the centre.

3

Place the alphabet dome stickers on top.

4

Crop your photo to measure 12cm by 12cm. Stick in the top left hand corner.

5

Trim the thread from the green leaf shaped tags. Add dome stickers on top and thread a small piece of the thin ticky ribbon through each hole. Tuck behind the photo and glue the tags in place.

I’m a qualified designer with a wealth of experience in many aspects of art and design. After studying fine art and ceramics in the early eighties, I discovered the joy of glass painting, which enabled me to develop a love of colour. I’m always looking to invent new techniques, the lasted one being a way in which to heat emboss directly onto wood which I have done successfully to decorate a wooden frame. More recently I upgraded my computer skills by studying a HNC in graphic design and I now run art & craft workshops alongside working as a ‘do crafts designer which is my dream job!
