And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Step by Step

1

Take a square card and cover the inside with patterned paper. (Trim off excess in an ‘L’ shape and keep this piece for later). Chalk around the edges of covered area with purple.

2

Measure 4cm along top left edge and bottom right side of card then mark and score to form a folded triangular corner. Cut along the triangular edges with scalloped scissors.

3

Using white Core’dinations card, cut a piece to fit the front of the card, chalk around the edges in green then glue in place on card front under the folded section.

4

Chalk around the edges of the ‘L’shaped waste piece using purple and stick it onto the white area on front of card.

5

Stamp 9 flowers onto various colours of Core’dinations. Cut each one out and chalk round the edges in corresponding colours. Stick randomly along the ‘L’ shaped piece using 3D foam dots.

6

Layer a notelet onto green Core’dinations card then add the words ‘For You’ to the centre and outline each one with a fine tipped purple marker. Cut out the centre of an identical notelet and place acetate behind it to form a window. Chalk around the edges using purple then place double-sided foam tape on the back of the notelet along the edges of the acetate to make a sealed window. Fill with beads.

7

Now carefully stick the first notelet on top of the window and press down firmly ensuring the beads don’t move. Glue the window onto the folded triangular panel on front of card.

8

Carefully heat up two lengths of thick and thin organza ribbon until they wrinkle and twist, then tie them together, trim edges and glue to top of shaker window.

9

To complete, add purple and green gem stones around the edge of the window and flower centres.

Hello, my name is Sheila and I am thrilled to be a ‘do crafts’ designer. I have been a keen crafter since childhood and now make my living from it. I demonstrate for docrafts and run my own craft groups and classes. I've have been making cards for approximately ten years and enjoy all aspects of creating and papercrafting. I like to spend lots of my time developing ideas and learning new techniques. Hopefully I will be able to share these with you and give you some inspiration when demonstrating all the wonderful products on offer
