I keep a piece of sandpaper and a piece of waxed paper with my punches and every few times I use them, I punch through these other 2 pieces to keep sharp and lubricated.

I'll try that tip, sounds a good idea. Thanks. A tip I remember from years ago is to use scissors to cut a brillo pad in half (economical) which also sharpens the scissors.

Tonic studios do a punch and scissor cleaner and an easy glide lubricant for old punches it really works.I had a punch that had been stuck for ages and it released it. My punch is like new again. It was one of the origanal Alan and Barrys when C&C first started. the free tip didn't work for me sorry.

Hi! I'm Phill and Honeypot Crafts is what I do every day! I have been cardmaking and scrapbooking for nearly 13 years now and I was lucky enough to make my (very full time!) hobby my job. I opened my first Honeypot Crafts store in July 2007 and have loved every minute of it since. I love creating new styles of cards and using all the fabulous materials that are available to us now. I am more than happy to share my ideas with fellow crafters so, if you have seen anything you like and want to know how I did it...just ask..
