DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Trim pale blue paper to measure 25.5cm by 8cm. Ink the edges and glue across the lined Kraft cardstock. Apply a narrow strip of the green paper on top.

2

Arrange A5 blue and circle paper overlapping as shown.

3

Trim the striped border from the bottom of the A5 bubbles paper and apply horizontally. Apply some of the border stickers across and apply a photo above.

4

Punch a 3” scallop square from the centre on one of the lined Notelets. Layer onto blue paper and trim to leave a border. Trim an oblong journalling block from another notelet and layer onto green paper. Punch a 2.5” circle from graph Kraft card. Layer the cardstock sticker label on top. Arrange these three blocks on the right hand side of the photo. Add an appropriate cardstock sticker on top of the blue edged block. Add your journalling onto the round block and apply your title overlapping the blocks.

5

Apply further cardstock stickers to accent the page, using 3D foam pads to raise some of the elements up.

6

Ink the edge of the page with Frost White ink to finish.
