Step by Step

1

Ink the inside back panel of an A6 gatefold card using pink ink. Layer blue and then pink paper from the Lucy Cromwell collection, distressing the edges of each layer and adding a pierced border to the pink layer.

2

Add some bunting detail to the top left corner and a sentiment tag to the bottom right with an accent of pink dot ribbon and a small Parkstone Pink Blitter.

3

Cover the inside and outside of the gatefold panels with brown cardstock, inking the edges with brown ink to add depth.

4

Trim smaller panels of the same brown cardstock to represent the panels of wardrobe doors. Ink and add white pen detail as shown.

5

Make a mini clothes hanger from beading wire and hook over the top of the door of the wardrobe.

6

Assemble the dress decoupage and position onto the hanger. Add some ribbon detail to the hanger and some adhesive stone to the waistband of the dress.

7

Arrange the tag sentiments to the left hand door and add a Lincoln Linen bow and a Parkstone Pink Blitter to finish.

Hi there! My earliest memory of crafting is sitting with my Nan embroidering when I was tiny. Since then I’ve enjoyed cross-stitch, knitting, & a multitude of paper-crafting techniques. I have been making cards for years but really became hooked when I was introduced to heat embossing. I’ve been addicted to paper, brads, ribbon, stamps, beads, wire…. ever since! I’m really looking forward to meeting you to show you what you can achieve with all the wonderful products available to you!
