Step by Step

1

Trim Sunshine patterned paper to measure 13x13cm. Distress the edges and glue centrally onto a square kraft card blank. Pierce a double row of holes around the edge and draw between the lines with a brown pen.

2

Use the nesting dies to cut a 6cm hole in the centre of the card.

3

Combine the 10.5cm Flower die and the 6cm circle die onto the platform of your die-cutting machine (using the magnetic mat in the dies to hold them in position).

4

Die cut this shape from orange cardstock, brown cardstock and glitter card.

5

Cut just the Flower die from acetate.

6

Use the Secret Garden Embossing folder to emboss each of the die cut shapes (not the acetate!)

7

Layer up the glitter card flower around the aperture and then layer the brown cardstock flower on top using 3D foam pads.

8

Adhere the orange flower on top of the acetate layer and glue in place.

9

Stamp the Thank You stamp onto green cardstock and cut out each letter. Glue in place over the aperture window.

10

Cut two narrow strips of matching green cardstock and cut the end to a fishtail. Roughly pleat and glue to the top left and bottom right.

Hi there! My earliest memory of crafting is sitting with my Nan embroidering when I was tiny. Since then I’ve enjoyed cross-stitch, knitting, & a multitude of paper-crafting techniques. I have been making cards for years but really became hooked when I was introduced to heat embossing. I’ve been addicted to paper, brads, ribbon, stamps, beads, wire…. ever since! I’m really looking forward to meeting you to show you what you can achieve with all the wonderful products available to you!
