Step by Step

1

Cover the inside of a square card blank with the orange Happy Days paper.

2

Trim 2cm from the opening edge of the card front.

3

Cut a chevron edge from the patterned paper and adhere to the right hand side of the card front.

4

Trim blue Happy Days paper to measure 11cm wide and adhere to the card front, trimming top and bottom to the edge of the card.

5

Trim stitched stripe paper to measure 11.5x3cm. Layer onto orange cardstock and adhere towards the bottom of the card as shown.

6

Add a 1cm wide pennant of dot paper and adhere across the card as shown.

7

Layer orange paper measuring 6x4cm onto dot paper and tuck behind the border.

8

Layer the ‘For Sale ads’ section from the patterned paper onto grey cardstock and adhere as shown.

9

Fold one of the petals of the Big Bloomers in half and cut from the top edge to the centre. Repeat for all the petals to give a star shape. Glue to the card and add a paper bottle top cut from the patterned paper on top.

10

Cut the car from the patterned paper and add to the card using 3D foam pads to add dimension.

11

Add a row of Boofle buttons to the left hand side.

12

Colour the white cardstock alphabet stickers and apply to the narrow banner section to complete.

I have always been 'crafty' and while sitting with my gran when I was younger I admired all she did and said to myself that I wanted to create things like her. I am just a girl who has been let loose with paper and scissors. Can I make a mess ... You sure bet I can! I am a freelance designer for docrafts and enjoy creating projects for the Creativity! Magazine, Creativity! Club TV and demos.
