And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Step by Step

1

This necklace has two strands so a beading palette is ideal for planning the necklace.

2

On the outer guide of the bead palette first position the large round green beads. Start with one in the centre and put three either side with about 6cm between them. Add a copper flower car either side of each.

3

Alternate the brown and mahogany oval beads between the large green beads. Use one between the pairs of green beads and two at either end.

4

Position a small blue oval between each bead and add a metal spacer at either end for a neat finish to the strand. Thread the strand onto gold wire with a pair of crimp beads holding on a jump ring at either end for extra strength.

5

For the inner strand use the inner channel on the board and equally space 9 blue/green ovals. Alternate with mahogany and brown ovals between these.

6

Add round green/blue beads in the spaces in between.

7

Add round green/blue beads in the spaces in between.

8

Thread onto gold wire and secure as the first strand.

9

Take a jump ring and open. Thread on both strands and one end of the toggle clasp. Close the jump ring. Repeat at the other end of the necklace with the other part of the toggle.
