Step by Step
1
Cut a square of the ‘berries’ print flocked handmade paper slightly smaller than the front of the card blank so that a thin white edge will be visible when it is attached to the card blank. Glue in place.
2
Cut a 2.5cm slot in the spine of the card approximately 1.5cm from the bottom edge of the card. Then cut a length of organza ribbon and thread it along the back of the card front and through the slot. Tie in a knot on the left of the card front and trim the excess.
3
From Core’dinations white cardstock, cut a rectangle 7.5cms x 11.5cms and edge with pink fluid chalk. Mat onto handmade paper and then layer this on to another rectangle of white. Edge with chalk.
4
Using striped handmade paper, cut a strip from the flocked part size 0.5cm x 10cms to resemble a branch. Attach this centrally to the rectangular panel made in the previous step. Now cut some smaller branches.
5
Try to re-create the image from the backing paper as you attach the branches.
6
Next, punch some circles from the flocked areas of the spotted paper. Start to glue some of them in place along the branches. Now add black adhesive 3D foam dots to the remaining circles and attach them in place making sure that some of them overlap to resemble bunches of berries.
7
When completed, pierce a hole in each corner of the main white panel and add a black brad to each hole.
8
Attach the completed panel to the card front using 3D adhesive foam dots.
9
Place the ‘Thank You’ sticker on to a piece of white card and trim leaving a white edge. To complete, chalk the edges and attach to the card using 3D adhesive foam squares.
