Step by Step
1
Cut a piece of the misty green Colossal paper to 11cm by 10cm. Round the corners using the X-Cut corner punch and ink the edges using the inkpad. Stick to your card slightly to the left hand side.
2
Cut a piece of spare white card to 8cm by 8cm. Round the corners and ink the edges. Put to one side.
3
Take a green round paper shape from the Papermania paper caddy . Stamp 'You' using the alphabet stamps. Ink the edges. Using the tool kit (hole punch, hammer and cutting mat), punch a hole at the top and the bottom of the shape.
4
Cut four lengths of the green check ribbon to 5cm long. Thread the ends of the ribbon through the holes in the paper circle, securing behind the shape. Attach some 3D foam pads on the back of the paper shape and stick to the white card section you cut in step 2. Fold the ends of the ribbon behind to give a neat finish. (If you are careful you can peel off the sticky backing from the ribbon to make the threading easier, but it is not essential). Stick the completed white card section to the right hand side of the card. Refer to the photograph for placement.
5
Ink the edges of a oval green paper shape and glue to the top left hand corner of the card at an angle. Position the wire word and pierce through the holes using the pricking tool. Attach the wire word using the brads provided.
6
Take two lengths of the green ribbon (approximately 6cm) and thread the centre of the ribbon through the hole in the metal letter embellishments. Fold the free ends through the loop and pull until it is securely attached. Mount the letters on 3D foam tape on the bottom left hand corner of the green paper layer.
