This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step
1
Trim 4 panels of patterned paper and ink the edges of each. Build up onto an 8x8 card blank and add some doodled borders. Ink the edge of the card with Frost white ink.
2
Stamp the large Nativity scene onto white card, trim to a rectangle and add a doodled border.
3
Decide which parts of the image you would like to be in each paper/cardstock. Stamp the sections required onto the different papers (you don’t need to stamp the whole image each time – just the sections you need). Cut out each section in turn and paper piece (layer) the sections onto the plain stamped image.
4
Once you have covered all the sections you need use the Kurecolor Twin pens to colour the smallest sections (skin tones/the crook and the sheep). Secure the image centrally.
5
Pop out the ‘The First Noel’ die-cut and sand the edges lightly to add a distressed look. Position to the top right of the image.
6
Wrap some raffia around the bottom of the card and secure on the reverse. Knot some further raffia around.
7
Finish with some gold adhesive stones.
