DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Cut a square of white cardstock of 10.5x10.5" and glue it onto the centre of the green dotted cardstock.

2

Attach a cardstock sticker border at the bottom of the white cardstock.

3

Glue 3 square photos just above the border.

4

Print (with your computer) the letters of the title. I used the Garamond font in size 260. Cut the letters, trace them on the Doodlebug flowered patterned paper and cut them again. Glue them to the layout as shown.

5

Use the little green Doodlebug rub-on letters to make the rest of the title.

6

Decorate the letters with the ribbon and butterfly brads and flowers. To make the flowers: cut some of the flowers of the ribbon and the cardstock borders, glue them on cardstock and cut around them, and glue that on patterned paper, and cut around that and so on.

7

Cut a strip and a little tag of green dotted cardstock. On the strip attach a piece of white cardstock glitter border and rub-on letters; attach this little tag over the top of the title as shown.

“The most important thing about scrapping is to tell the story of daily life and honour the people, places and things I love. My motto is ‘laugh out loud’!”
