Step by Step
1
Cut the black cardstock to measure 30cm x 21cm to make a landscape A5 base card.
2
Open the card out and with the longest sides top and bottom from the left hand side, measure and draw vertical lines at 3cm, 6cm, 10.5cm, 15cm and 22.5cm.
3
Turn the card around with the shortest sides top and bottom and measure 9.5cm in from the left hand side. Cut along this line from the 3cm line to the 22.5cm line.
4
At the 3cm, 6cm, 10.5cm and 22.5cm lines score to the cut made in the previous step. At the 15cm line, score right the way across to form the spine of the card.
5
At the 15cm score line fold the left hand side in a mountain fold and the right hand side as a valley fold.
6
Now fold the other score lines alternately mountain and valley until you end up with three steps on the right hand side.
7
Trim some orange spotty paper to 9cm x 14.5cm and stick to the left hand side of the card. Cut circles paper to 9.5cmx6.5cm and mat onto spare black cardstock. Tie some black ribbon across the bottom of the matted piece and stick it towards the top of the orange spotty panel.
8
Push out the broomstick, cat and witch’s hat from the die cut pack and assemble them onto the circles panel then stick 2 pumpkins at the bottom.
9
Cut two pieces of circles paper to 2.5cm x 10.8cm and 7cm x 10.8cm and stick these to the first and last steps on the right hand side. Cut one piece of the orange spotty paper to 4cm x 10.8cm and stick to the middle step.
10
Take the cat lying on broomstick and using foam pads, put on the back panel slightly overlapping the top of the card. Put a greeting die cut on the bottom step of the card.
11
Edge the large panel and middle panel with black Glitterations borders to finish off.
