Step by Step

1

Cut a piece of brown leather cord 17” in length. Tie the turquoise ceramic disc centrally on the cord.

2

Feed several silver jump rings over both strands of cord before splitting to work on one side at a time.

3

Onto one side feed the following large holed glass beads: Aqua faceted – teal & green patterned – teal faceted – teal & green patterned – aqua faceted

4

Attach a leather crimp from the leather cord starter pack to the end of the strand.

5

Repeat steps 3 & 4 on the opposite side of the necklace.

6

Cut a short length of small linked chain from the silver starter pack. Thread a small aqua crackle bead onto and eye pin and turn a loop at the top. Attach the bead to one end of the chain using a jump ring. Attach the completed extension chain to one side of the necklace, again using a jump ring.

7

Attach a trigger clasp to the other side of the necklace using a jump ring to complete the design.

Hi there! My earliest memory of crafting is sitting with my Nan embroidering when I was tiny. Since then I’ve enjoyed cross-stitch, knitting, & a multitude of paper-crafting techniques. I have been making cards for years but really became hooked when I was introduced to heat embossing. I’ve been addicted to paper, brads, ribbon, stamps, beads, wire…. ever since! I’m really looking forward to meeting you to show you what you can achieve with all the wonderful products available to you!
