Step by Step

1

Score a 14 x 14cm piece of card at 3cm in from each side. Snip the corners and fold to make a drawer. Repeat to make a second drawer.

2

Trim card to measure 8 x 24.5cm. Score at 2cm, 10.1cm, 13.2cm and 21.3cm fold and glue the ends to make a sleeve for one of the drawers. Repeat for the second drawer.

3

Glue the sleeves together on top of one another. Cover the front, back and insides of the drawers and the side of the sleeves with patterned papers.

4

Add a 9 x 9cm piece of card on top for reinforcement.

5

Make the easel card for the top with a piece of 9 x 18cm cardstock. Fold in half and then one side in half again. Add a 9 x 9cm piece of card to the easel section.

6

To decorate, die cut several of the Tea Party images from the Build-A-Scene set. Use a selection of toning cardstock for a unified effect.

7

Add a printed sentiment created using your favourite font and the docrafts Digital Designer. Layer using 3D foam pads and add at the front of the easel card using 3D foam pads to act as a stopper.

8
