DOCRAFTS CREATIVITY MAGAZINE ISSUE 33 MAY/JUN 2012

This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

2

Trim toadstool paper to measure 9cm by 24cm. Ink the edges and glue to the left hand side.

3

Trim green grid paper to measure 6cm by 17cm. Ink the edges and layer centrally.

4

Arrange three photographs as shown and glue in place.

5

Staple a length of red lace ribbon and a couple of lengths of black raffia across the page.

6

Punch a 3” scalloped circle from plain Kraft card and shape the edges so they curl upwards. Ink the edges. Punch a 2.5” circle from red striped paper and snip all around the edge with scissors. Layer on top. Punch a 2” scalloped circle from graph Kraft cardstock. Shape and ink the edges and add on top. Add a crescent of gemstone.

7

Layer this to the left of the photos.

8

Use the Forever Friends alphabet stickers to spell out your title at the top of the page over the white space of the photo.

9

Die cut the sub-title using the Xcut die and plain Kraft cardstock. Position on the right hand side of the page.

10

Punch a 2” scalloped circle from plain Kraft card and add a dot border and your journalling using a white gel pen.

Scrapbooking satisfies my daily need for a creative outlet, it complements my other loves, photography and my Newfoundland dogs perfectly!
