This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Score and make a vertical fold approximately 2cm from the spine of a square card blank. Use double sided tape inside the card, next to the spine to hold the fold in place.

2

Use the Crop-A-Dile to punch two holes in the centre of the folded section approximately 2.5cm apart. Thread organza ribbon through the hole to make a decorative bow.

3

Cut three pieces of Gemstones Pearl cardstock to measure 2cm x 6cm, 2cm x 4cm & 2cm x 2cm. Round the corners of each piece to form the three tiers of the wedding cake. Decorate each piece with a piece of thin white organza ribbon wrapped around the middle and secured behind with double sided tape. Add a length of thin white velvet ribbon around the bottom of each piece, again securing on back.

4

Use 3D foam pads to mount the top two sections onto your card as shown.

5

Use silver craft wire to form the cake stand as shown in the photograph. Stick to the back of the bottom cake tier. Use 3D foam pads to mount onto your card.

6

Add wording of your choice to the bottom right of the card.

7

Complete the card by rounding the corners using the corner punch. Carefully ink around the edge of the card and add a printed inner to the inside of the card.

Hi I’m Mandy & a craft obsessive. This sad plight has lead me to dedicate much spare time to the pursuit of the ‘perfect card’. Anyway, back on track… I have been a ‘do crafts’ designer for a few years now & love to show everyone how fantastic all our products are, I look forward to seeing you at your local ‘do crafts’ event soon. Happy Crafting
