This issue we feature a delightful collection from Lucy Cromwell by Papermania, off ering all the cups of tea, cake and bunting you will need to set the scene. And just to prove how versatile this range is, you can also find it in our ‘Wedding Special’ feature and used to make a Father’s Day card in our ‘make a Father’s Day card’ challenge! Our ‘Wedding Special’ feature also includes jewellery for the bride and a charming idea to hold onto those precious memories of the big day!

Step by Step

1

Ink up the Whispers winter tree stamp using lilac Ink it Up! pigment ink. Stamp onto cream paper and generously sprinkle over clear Heat it Up! embossing powder. Tap off the excess and melt with the Heat it Up! heat tool. Leave to cool.

2

Cut around the design using decorative edged scissors.

3

Use the Whispers Rectangle Layering Templates to create layers of paper rectangles. You can either place the templates onto the papers, trace around them and cut our with scissors or tear the papers around the templates! Use different coloured papers with each size of template.

4

Assemble the layers together and glue to a lilac card front.

5

Using the small diamond Whispers Template, tear around silver paper. Write Seasons Greetings using a purple gel pen into the centre of the diamond. Glue to the card!

I have been with docrafts for over ten years and in that time, have tried many new crafts. I have been involved with the docrafts Creativity! magazine since its launch in 2003 and now work with some wonderful designers as the magazine editor.
