Step by Step
1
Take a round card and using a ruler and a craft knife cut a little bit off the bottom to make it stand up a little easier
2
Cover the card with the stripped Summer Blooms paper
3
Cut two 2” x 6” strips of co-ordinating papers, use an edge punch on one of them and then adhere to the bottom section of the card. Trim the excess paper that hangs over the edge of the card
4
Using a dimensional adhesive or foam pads build your decoupage layers. Allow to dry if necessary
5
Tie a piece of wide green organza ribbon around the card and tie in a bow
6
Place the decoupage on top of the ribbon
7
Ink the edges of the card with pink ink from the paint palette (you can remove each colour which makes this really easy to do)
8
Using an acrylic stamp (I used one from the Some Bunny Loves You stamp set) for a sentiment place it onto an acrylic block curving it to match the curve of the card as you stick it down. Stamp your sentiment.
9
Finally add Anita’s 3D Clear Gloss Finish to areas of your decoupaged image and allow to dry for a few hours (preferably overnight) for a lovely glass finish.
