Step by Step

1

Use sandpaper to distress around the circumference of the cream Core’dinations Cardstock.

2

Trim the white leaf paper to measure 27x22cm, ink the edges and glue centrally on the page. Trim the green flourish paper to measure 14x27cm, ink the edges and glue crossing the first layer towards the right hand side of the page.

3

Trim cream vellum to measure 18cm wide and tear the bottom edge so that it measures approximately 22cm tall. Ink the edges and glue over the green paper as shown.

4

Trim the brown flourish paper to measure 23cm wide and tear the bottom edge so that it measures approximately 18cm tall. Glue over the vellum as shown. Fold back the top left corner.

5

Mat your photos onto dark brown cardstock and arrange in a group as indicated.

6

Apply a length of ribbon down the right hand side of the page securing with the vellum adhesive.

7

Use the white gel pen to write your journalling into the dark brown cardstock. Trim into strips and position to the left of the photos.

8

Apply some of the Stick With It double sided adhesive shapes. Remove the surface covering and cover with the red glitter, press down and then dust off the excess, returning it to the pot for your next project.

9

Apply your title above and below the photo using the cardstock stickers.

10

Use the black gel pen to add doodle detail. Add a row of velvet coated brads as shown.

11

Add further tearing, rolling and distressing detail to the page.

I have always been 'crafty' and while sitting with my gran when I was younger I admired all she did and said to myself that I wanted to create things like her. I am just a girl who has been let loose with paper and scissors. Can I make a mess ... You sure bet I can! I am a freelance designer for docrafts and enjoy creating projects for the Creativity! Magazine, Creativity! Club TV and demos.
