Step by Step
1
Start with a 12 x 12" sheet of dark red cardstock from the Sugared Collection. Select a sheet of 'Dumpling' paper from the pack and trim so that it measures 29 x 29 cm. Use the brown ink pad to lightly in the edge and then glue this sheet into the middle of your 12 x 12" sheet.
2
Cut a square of red cardstock 8.5 x 8.5 cm, ink the edges and glue to your page in the top left corner 1.5 cm from the top and 0.5 cm from the edge of your 'Dumpling' paper.
3
Cut a piece of 'Cherished' paper from the pack so that it is 28 x 7.5 cm. Tear the last centimetre off the right-hand edge as shown in the photograph and ink the edge. Affix this sheet of paper so that it sits within the red square described in step 2, this should leave a 0.5 cm border.
4
Select two photographs and trim so that one is 5.5 cm wide by 4.5 cm tall and the other is 4.5 cm wide by 5.5 cm tall.
5
Cut two sheets of dark red paper 8 x 6.3cm, two sheets of Yellow paper 7.3 x 5.5 cm and two sheets of cream paper 6.5 x 5 cm. Ink the edges and then use one square of each colour to mat together into two frames. Finally affix each of the two pictures on top of each stack.
6
Stick the 'Girl' journalling panel sticker to the bottom left corner of you page and add journalling. Highlight the large 'G' using Anita's 3D Gloss and affix a brad next to the panel.
7
Trim your main photo so that it measures 14.5 x 20 cm, ink the edges.
8
Cut a piece of yellow paper to measure 18 x 24 cm and ink the edges. Affix this sheet 2.5 cm from the right and 2 cm from the bottom of the background 'Dumpling' sheet of paper. Cut a sheet of cream paper 15.5 x 21 cm and ink the edges. Stick this sheet 1 cm from the top and 0.7 cm from the right hand edge of your yellow sheet. Glue the photograph on top of the cream sheet leaving an even border.
9
Stick on the lettering around the photograph and outline using a brush marker, highlight the letters using Anita's 3D Gloss to add shine to each. Add a large Monogram letter to the top left corner of the page as pictured. Again outline with brush marker and highlight using Anita's 3D Gloss.
10
Affix the two small photos to the top left corner of the page, overlapping each other as shown. Finish these mini picture frames with a corner chipsticker to the top left corner of each photo and top each off with a heart chipsticker as shown.
11
Add cross-stitched fibres down the right-hand edge of your photograph and finish with a bow. Finally add a small tab of dark red paper 1 x 6.5 cm inked at the edges to the bottom left corner of your page between the journalling box and the edge of the page.
