The score lines cut rather than score with the gift bag and tag die. I will keep trying different options rather than return it as the size is good. I may have to put up with reinforcing paper strips on the inside. I like it and, with decorative card, is very pretty...love the bow.

In response to your recent email, I am still finding the gift bag and tag die difficult to not cut on the score line (it only semi cuts but isnt completely safely reliable) forcing me to reinforce score lines with 'patches'. I have used Crafters Companion Pearl Centura 300 gsm. You suggested 215 gsm minimum.

I have loads of these dies sets, actually almost all of them. But I find the embossing around the edges hardly ever turns out and some of them seem to be a little blunt in certain parts of the die and I have to run it through my bigshot a couple of times. Am I doing something wrong or should I use a shim? Actually I can never get a shim in the shops here in Dublin. Do u think a shim would help ?
