Step by Step

1

Trim red textured cardstock to measure 14.5x14.5cm. Pinch the edges.

2

Trim blue floral paper from the Best of British collection to measure 14x14cm. Pinch and distress the edges and glue centrally.

3

Trim a 7.5x12cm panel of the red floral paper. Pinch and distress the edges and position to the right hand side of the card at a slight angle.

4

Wrap red ribbon around the panel at an angle and secure on the reverse. Add a thin strip of the heart paper along the centre.

5

Fold kraft cardstock to make a 6x6 card blank. Glue the panel centrally.

6

Die cut a 10.5cm Spiro circle. Die cut a 8.25cm circle of the blue heart paper and distress the edges. Glue centrally and add doodle detail with a white gel pen. Glue this panel towards the right hand side of the card.

7

Assemble the Forever Friends decoupage and position to the left hand side of the card as shown.

8

Add the ‘You’re the Best’ greeting and add doodled detail with a white gel pen.

9

Position the tag greeting centrally, adding a blue daisy button. Finish with red adhesive stones and dotty buttons the bottom border as shown.

Hi there! My earliest memory of crafting is sitting with my Nan embroidering when I was tiny. Since then I’ve enjoyed cross-stitch, knitting, & a multitude of paper-crafting techniques. I have been making cards for years but really became hooked when I was introduced to heat embossing. I’ve been addicted to paper, brads, ribbon, stamps, beads, wire…. ever since! I’m really looking forward to meeting you to show you what you can achieve with all the wonderful products available to you!
