Bare Basics Wedding Table Settings

If there are wedding bells in the air for you in 2023 then this collection of makes will hopefully inspire you to create your very own beautiful table settings. Our Bare Basics range is a perfect place to start with a wonderful array of wooden shapes, scrabbles letters, jute flowers and twine, kraft boxes, mini pegs and so much more!

Here are the three mini makes to get you started:

Kraft Box Favour

1. This make is ever so simple and quick to make which is great when you have a several to make! Our Bare Basics range has a few different box shapes, from match boxes to nesting boxes, any of which will work with this project. Once you have filled your box with the favours, take a length of Bare Basics Jute Ribbon and wrap around your chosen box. Secure the ends on the back of the box with Stick It! Double Sided Tape.

2. Add three Bare Basics Jute Flowers to the ribbon with a Stick It! Sticky Glue Pen.

3. Cut a tag from a sheet of white card or a colour of your choice. Write your sentiment on the tag and attach to the ribbon by using a Bare Basics Mini Peg.

Wooden Tile Letter Decoration

1. This make can be used within your table setting as a sweet sentiment decoration that adds a pretty detail to the set. Cut a square of kraft card 6 x 6 cm. Then cut another square of white card or a colour of your choice 5 x 5 cm. This creates a border for your Bare Basics Wooden Tiles. Stick these two squares together using double sided tape.

2. Add a few dots of PVA glue to the back of each tile and carefully place the letters in a square format.

3. To keep the set coordinated, add a jute flower to the corner of the square.

Place Card

1. Cut a rectangle from kraft card 12 x 10 cm and create a score line where you will be folding in half. To help create a smooth fold, fold using a paper creaser.

2. Cut a strip of white card 10 x 3cm and write your place setting name here. Do this before you stick it down to the card just in case you need to change it!

3. Once you are happy with the name add this to the card using double sided tape.

4. Cut a strip of jute ribbon 10cm long and glue down to the top of the place card.

5. To finish, add a jute flower to the top corner of the ribbon.
