Decorated Porcelain Mugs

Give your plain mug a contemporary update with Marabu Porcelain & Glas Painters. Marabu Porcelain & Glas Painters allow you to easily transform a simple mug into an object beautifully decorated with an attractive design.

1. Clean the mugs with an abrasive cleaner and a sponge before painting. Then wipe down with white spirit to ensure that it is free from dust and grease.

2. Shake the markers well with the cap on. Pump by slowly pressing down the tip several times until the ink shows. Test the markers on a piece of paper first.

3. Marabu Porcelain & Glas Painters are so simple to use and allow you to paint directly onto the mug. We went for an abstract pattern of spots on one mug and dashes on the other in a mix of blues, yellows, reds and pinks.

4. Finally, leave the paint to dry for 4 hours. Then place the mug in a pre-heated oven and fire for 30 minutes at 160°C. Leave to cool down in the oven. The mug is now dishwasher safe.
