Best Dad card

Craft this elegant Father's Day card by Project Design Team member Camila Bertolini. Camila has combined cork with Papermania's Capsule Elements Wood, and what a fantastic mix it is!

1. Cover an A5 white card blank with wood effect paper from the Papermania Capsule Elements Wood A4 Ultimate Die-cut & Paper Pack. Trim a piece of chevron vellum 1cm smaller than the card front.

2. Select the word 'Best' from Papermania Capsule Elements Wood Wooden Alphabet Pack. Apply acrylic paint on sections of the letters, using a small flat paint brush. Craft tape will help keep the lines neat. This project uses Artiste Sea Spray Acrylic Paint for the letter B, and Metallic Titanium for the letter S. For the remaining letters, adhere a piece of double-sided tape at the back to fix a few rows of Bare Basics natural jute.

3. Die cut 'Dad' in Xcut Xtras A5 Adhesive Cork Sheets twice, using the Xcut Script Alphabet Dies. Stick the two layers of cork letters together and fix onto a tag from the ultimate pack. Make a hole at the end of the tag and tie a bow of jute.

4. Adhere 'Best' and the tag onto the vellum panel with Stick it! 3D Foam Dots. Grab four dark grey brads and snip the legs off. Stick in each corner using foam dots. Adhere the vellum panel onto the card base to finish.
