Cityscape line art

The Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pen Hand Lettering Wallet Pastel Shades is the perfect tool to create a vibrant and colourful cityscape line drawing. The pack consists of a range of colours and includes brush-tip ends that are great for varying line thickness or colouring in block sections. We have used the technique of continuous line drawing; this process adds character to your drawing and enables you to include a lot of detail without feeling too precious. The Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens provide a constant even flow of ink, run smoothly over the page and dry instantly to prevent any smudging.

1. To have something to draw from, cut out a range of different sized and shaped buildings from magazines, newspapers or online images and collate them on an A4 piece of paper to build your own city scape.

2. Select a pen from the Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pen Hand Lettering Wallet Pastel Shades and one of the buildings to begin with, draw the buildings outline and its detail without taking your pen off the page.

3. Once you have drawn all of the buildings from your A4 collage in a range of tones, add blocks of colour using the brush-tipped pens included in the pack. These are brilliant for colouring in either small and large spaces and give you an even and bright finish.
