Floral blocks

Brighten up your home with this pretty floral sign, you can re-arrange the boxes to suit you. It’s the perfect project to get set for spring.

1. Paint the inside compartments of a Papermania Bare Basics Shadow Box using Artiste Acrylic Paint in Storm Cloud, Sea Spray and Sage. Alternatively, you could use recycled boxes.

2. Trim a piece of complementary cardstock to fit the front of each box and adhere using Anita’s Tacky Glue. Select Papermania Bare Basics Wooden Alphabet letters to spell the word ‘Home’ and paint with Artiste Acrylic Paint Lagoon, a few coats will give a nice solid finish. Once dry, fix to the front of the boxes. If you pop the letters ‘H’ and ‘O’ onto longer boxes you can build the boxes differently.

3. Create an arrangement of flowers on each box by punching various flowers in coloured cardstock with the Xcut Cut & Emboss Medium and Small Flower and Xcut Cut & Emboss Medium Maple Leaf. Add some small white flowers punched from the Xcut Small Palm Punch Petal and top off with a few butterflies punched from the Xcut Cut & Emboss Punch Small Butterfly in Anita’s A4 Parchment Vellum.
