Kiss the miss goodbye

Kiss the miss goodbye with this fun, illustrated hen doo keep-sake. Enjoy sketching different lips for your hens to sign as a memento for the bride to be. The Faber-Castell Polychromos Artists’ Pencils allow you to create realistic looking and vibrant drawings by layering different shades of red.

1. Sketch your lettering in the centre of an A4 sheet of paper from the Faber-Castell 160gsm Sketch Pad. Once happy, draw over the top with the Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Brush Pen. Vary the thickness of the line when going around the curves of the letters, getting thinner at the ends.

2. Roughly draw the outlines of the lips with a red from the Faber-Castell Polychromos Artists' Pencil tin. Use a couple of shades of red per lip to add detail and vary the shades of lipstick. We recommend trying, pale geranium lake, deep scarlet red, venetian red, magenta and dark red. The darker shades are great for drawing shadow, then use a white pencil on top for highlights.

3. Add glossy accents onto the lips with Anita’s Clear Gloss, drawing it on in little lines for an extra special finish.
