Lighthouse aperture card

It’s summer and we’re loving the seaside! Create this nautical little number that can be used for any occasion.

1. Die cut a circular aperture in the centre of a 6 x 6'' white square card blank using the Xcut Circle Nesting Dies. With the same die and the circle that is the next size up, die cut a ring from a gold Xcut Xtras' A5 Adhesive Metal Effect Sheet. Use the Xcut Screw Hole Punch to create a porthole effect around the circle frame, then peel off the adhesive backing and attach to the surround of the aperture.

2. Run the Xcut Lighthouse Die through the die-cutting machine with white cardstock. Trim a small piece of the yellow Xcut Xtras' A5 Adhesive Glitter Sheets Pastels and adhere it to the back of the top of the lighthouse with a Sailor 2 in 1 Glue Pen. Peel off the back and use it to attach the die-cut lighthouse to the aperture. Place the rest of the die-cut inside the aperture. Use the glue pen to secure the die-cut on the inside of the card.

3. Use double-sided tape to attach the blue sheet from the Xcut Xtras' A5 Adhesive Metal Effect Sheets Naturals to the inside of the card.
