Becky James was filmed crafting this beautiful 3D Baby Carriage for a docrafts In The Studio video. Now we bring you the full written instructions so you too can make this lovely keepsake. Step by Step: 1. Die cut two 4.5” circles from white stock and two from floral Bellissima paper and layer one of each back to back. Remove a quarter segment from each circle and emboss the circles so that the debossed hearts are visible on the white card. 2. Cut a piece of white card 2 x 11” in size and the same from the floral paper. Layer back to back before embossing as in step 1. Score .25” from each long edge and make tiny cuts along the edge. 3. Assemble the carriage as shown in the video, trimming away any excess of the long strip that there may be. 4. Trim lilac striped paper to 3.5 x 1.5” and use to cover the reverse of the carriage’s canopy. Die cut a “D” from Anita's A4 Mirri Board - Silver using the Xcut Alphabet Dies - Alice and attach to the front of the carriage as a handle. 5. Cut a 12x12” strip of aqua spotted paper and use the Xcut Leafy Lace Border Punch to add a decorative border along one side. Glue around the carriage and top with pastel green Simply Floral ribbon. 6. Cut two 2.25 x 6” pieces of lilac striped paper and use the stripes as guides for scoring and concertina-ing each piece. Fan out and glue to the each side of the canopy. Cover each corner with a vintage style button topped with a paper rose. 7. Die cut four cogs from the silver Mirri Board and attach to the base of the carriage. Decorate each with punched circle wheel caps. Add an adhesive gem to the centre of each. 8. Finish by attaching a heart charm to the front of the carriage underneath the handle and suspending a metal butterfly charm from a large ribbon bow at the top of the canopy.
