Beaded 'Be' Card

Posted by BeckieD, 24 Jan, 2011

Combine textures of cardstock with beads and natural materials from the Cousin collection for this unique card.

  1. Trim glitter paper to measure 5cm x 11cm. Punch the left hand long edge using the border punch and position at an angle towards the left hand side of the card.

  2. Trim striped cardstock to measure 6.5cm by 9cm. Apply three eyelets at both the top and the bottom.

  3. Thread some beads onto beading wire and thread either end through the two left hand eyelets tying the ends together on the reverse so they are secure.

  4. Thread leather cord through the eyelets and around the piece of card as shown to make a criss-cross arrangement.

  5. Use 3D foam tape to hold the panel in place on the card.

  6. Trim a border from the diamond embossed cardstock following the shape of the diamonds. Curl the bottom of the diamonds upward. Apply across the card towards the bottom.

  7. Add glitter cardstock letters to the panel to complete.
