Follow our tutorial to make this stunning bee-themed card using embossing folders and die-cutting!
1. Mat black cardstock on yellow cardstock that is slightly smaller than A5. Die cut the honeycomb grid from yellow cardstock, putting aside the offcuts, ink the edges and adhere to the black cardstock. 2. Die cut a hexagon aperture 3cm from the top of a 13 x 19cm piece of white cardstock. Emboss the cardstock with the honeycomb embossing folder. Attach acetate to the back of the aperture. Die cut a yellow frame to fit around the aperture using two nesting hexagon dies, and adhere in place. 3. Die-cut a bee from white, black and yellow cardstock, trim and layer to create one bee. Die-cut a hive and attach on the honeycomb grid with the bee. Place sequin stars on top of the hive then apply 3D foam pads all the way round the back of the hexagon aperture, without any gaps. Add more foam pads to the back of the white embossed panel and adhere on the card front. Give the card a shake to disperse the stars. 4. Adhere inked alphabet stickers to the honeycomb die-cut offcuts and make a greeting on the panel. Wrap ribbon around the panel, securing at the back. Decorate with inked die-cut flowers, green cardstock stems, another die-cut bee and a ribbon bow. Adhere the panel on an A5 white card blank.
