Birdseed Storage Box

We love the new Xcut Christmas In The Country Robin Dies. But robins aren’t just for Christmas.

  1. Wrap and glue the ric rac around the box and the lid. Label and mount your tags onto some textured cardstock and stick on top of the ric rac.

  2. Using the Robin die, cut out the pieces from the textured cardstock and slot together.

  3. Cover the largest of the boxes with the papers from the A4 Ultimate Die-cut and Paper Pack. For a neat finish, cover the inside of the box and lid too.

  4. Stick the patterned craft tape to all the edges of the box, to protect the corners (this is also great for tidying up any rough edges.)

  5. Line the box with tissue paper to catch any crumbs.

  6. Take 3 of the leaf dies and cut out from a mixture of the greens in the textured cardstock pack. Stain the edges of the leaves with the different coloured inks and draw on some veins. Pinch the leaves and stick together with hot glue and adhere to the top of the lid. Glue the bird on top.
