Country Life bookmarks

Never lose your page again! Combine the linen textured Country Life papers with charms, ribbons and die-cuts to craft a collection of gorgeous bookmarks.

1. Trim pieces of Country Life paper into various bookmark shapes. The easiest way to do this is to cut a strip just longer than a book and shape the edges. Arch the corners with a corner punch, chop them off in a tag shape, curve the end or simply leave as a rectangle. 2. Use these shapes as templates to cut panels of thick coloured cardstock. Draw around them and trim around the pencil lines so that they’re just bigger than the patterned paper. 3. Distress the paper with scissor blades or a craft knife and adhere it on top of the cardstock. 4. Punch a hole in the top with an Xcut Screw Hole Punch and insert a length of ribbon or lace. Thread on a charm and tie a knot. 5. Adhere die-cut sentiments to sheets of coloured cardstock and fussy cut around them. Embellish the bookmarks with the sentiments, die-cuts, buttons and stickers, applying some with 3D foam tape for dimension.
