Die-cut notebook cover

Posted by TheDocraftsTeam, 27 Sep, 2016

Set your goals high and scribble down those spur-of-the-moment ideas with this bold notebook cover, using Papermania's Geometric Neon Fabric Paint and Xcut dies.

1. Fill two spritzing ink bottles with even measures of water and Papermania's Capsule Geometric Neon fabric paint – one neon pink and one pearlised white. Insert the metal ball bearing and shake the bottle well until combined.

2. Spritz the pink solution over two Xcut Adhesive Fabric Sheets, followed by a light covering of white. Leave to dry. Remove the backing from both sheets and adhere to white cardstock. Position landscape and overlap the pieces by 2cm, side-by-side. Machine stitch together. Fold the canvas in half and wrap a 15cm square notebook. Score and fold the edges inside the book.

3. Remove the cover and die cut 'Big ideas' using the Xcut wedding alphabet and folk alphabet dies. Place a square of metal effect sheet behind the sentiment and secure to your journal.
